The Homeward Bound Service in Hull provides low level support for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness and wish to return to their country of origin.
Our Homeward Bound Service offers practical assistance, including transportation and documentation requirements, to ensure a safe and seamless return home.

Who is this service for?
Our service is for individuals and families who have presented as homeless but have no right to remain or access to public funds. This includes homeless individuals and families who wish to return to their home country.
Our aim is to offer people the opportunity to receive support and assistance to overcome their homelessness through returning home to their country of origin. Humbercare provides low level support in accordance with presented needs, which could be due to fleeing domestic abuse, being trafficked, or experiencing a breakdown in their relationship or accommodation status. We offer practical assistance with sourcing transport, including flights and any necessary personal documentation requirements to support a safe return home.
Our service is funded by Hull City Council. Referrals to our Homeward Bound service, can be made through the Hull City Council’s Housing Options Team.
