Framework HRS Service

Who can benefit from our service?

The service is dedicated to responding to vulnerable single people, couples and families and expectant mothers over the age of 18 requiring housing related support to access accommodation or maintain their accommodation independently.

What does our HRS Framework Service offer?

The service offers a level of support to clients who have been assessed by the Local Authority as having high or moderate needs, referrals are received through the Local Authorities Gateway Referrals System.

The service is primarily focussed on preparing and supporting people to either maintain or take up their own tenancy whilst also working in partnership with other agencies i.e. health, substance misuse, mental health, education, employment and training services to ensure that the client has the maximum opportunity to realise their potential.

Support can include advice, advocacy and liaison, help and advice on money management, organising finances and making benefit claims, help and advice regarding personal safety and security.  Where appropriate help with regards to repair work and home improvement and assisting to establish social contacts and activities.

Our approaches to support are based on Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM), Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE), and Trauma Informed Care (TIC). We also work with a number of key partners within the locality to provide critical and complementary services for our service users to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
