Contract:
• Part Time, 20hrs per week flexible across 7 days as required inclusive of supporting on-call responsibility out of office opening hours
Key member of the North East Lincs Team. To support the Registered Manager to provide leadership to the delivery of the NE Lincs Supported Living/HRS Services for Learning Disability Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Registered Manager in leading Supported Living and Housing Related Support (HRS) services, ensuring delivery meets best practice, organisational policies, legislative requirements, and financial plans.
• Lead, motivate, and manage staff teams, including supervision, appraisals, recruitment support, rota coordination, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, maintaining at least a “Good” rating and working towards “Outstanding” service delivery.
• Coordinate and oversee service delivery, including assessments, support planning, accommodation standards, health and safety compliance, and customer support outcomes.
• Identify service gaps and drive continuous improvement, working with senior management to enhance quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Support safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance processes, ensuring safe practices, proper reporting, and protection of customers and staff.
Essential Requirements:
• Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or willing to work towards
• Sound understanding of the Supported Living environment and service delivery
• Experience of leadership within CQC (Care Quality Commission) registered services
• Working knowledge of complex needs and their impact on independent living
• Experience of delivering support and line managing staff
• Experience of auditing, report writing, analysing outcomes, and service improvement planning
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, including rota coordination and caseload management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
• Full driving licence or effective access to public transport
Desirable Requirements:
• Willing to work towards a recognised housing/care/support qualification.
• Experience of leadership in a social care or similar environment/service/project
• Working knowledge of welfare benefits and housing benefit entitlement
• Knowledge of local statutory and voluntary support agencies
