The aim of the project is to recruit Mentors who will offer support, guidance and practical help to young people as they go through a difficult and challenging period of their lives.

THE MENTORING PROJECT RECRUITS, TRAINS AND MATCHES VOLUNTEERS, TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 16-25 YEARS.

Access to the Mentoring Project is via our referral form.

The project offers support in areas of:

• Life Skills and Budgeting
• Befriending; Role Modelling
• Literacy and numeracy
• Employment & training support
• Further education support
• Accommodation support

The Mentor volunteers are given support and attend an initial Induction Programme. Mentors have the opportunity to attend ongoing training, post induction.
