We operate an open door policy to all clients of the National Probation Service (Humberside). Access to the scheme is through existing Humbercare projects or a direct referral from a Probation Officer. Mentoring support aims to work towards reducing the risk of an individual client re-offending. The project aims to ensure that all clients are maximising opportunities and benefits available to them through ongoing support, striving to improve the clients' quality of life. Mentoring can establish and develop over a period of time a worthehile one to one relationship that offers support, guidance and practical help as that client goes through a difficult and challenging period of their life.
