Opportunities to mentor Probation clients To offer support and guidance to help reduce the risk of re-offending.

Practical help to our clients as they go through difficult and challenging periods throughout their lives.

In close partnership with public sector bodies, voluntary, community and private sector groups to develop quality services.

A full induction programme, ongoing training, support and supervision is available throughout your volunteer period with Humbercare.

We are continually improving our high standards of good practice when involving volunteers through Accredited Training and following recognised Good Practice Guide in Working with Volunteers.

We aim to make volunteering accessible to people with the skills necessary to support, encourage and motivate our service users. We value your contribution and offer a full training package, ongoing support and expenses. Volunteering provides additional support to our service users, can develop your skills and interests which may lead to employment, training and education opportunities.

Circles of Support & Accountability - Yorkshire and Humberside - delivering circles of support and accountability (No More Victims).  A community response to sexual offending, working in partnership with criminal justice agencies. CAEA, Futures - Humbercare will be providing a direct access winter shelter facility working with entrenched rough sleepers based at Roper Street on behalf of Hull City Council. Humbercare has volunteering opportunities working with staff located at the Roper Street direct access provision:

Grimsby Volunteers - supporting current projects and service users within the N E Lincolnshire area. For further information contact the Grimsby office 01472 245820.

Home from Hospital and Hospital Avoidance Service - The service is provided to people living in North Lincolnshire who are about to be discharged from hospital to wherever they consider to be home.  Alternatively it can also provide support to an individual to prevent them having to be admitted to hospital.  If you are interested in volunteering please contact Project Coordinator Sharron Davey on 07793 241218 or email for an application pack to sharron.davey@humbercare.org.uk

  2. Forward to Humbercare
  3. You will be invited for an informal chat about your application
  4. You will be invited on Induction Training
  5. 2 references will be required.
  6. Disclosure DBS (formally enhanced CRB)
  7. Volunteer Agreement signed
  8. Introduced to your volunteering opportunity.

You will then receive on-going training and supervision.
