Housing Support Services are designed to meet the needs of High Risk or Highly Vulnerable individuals who require, and agree to receive, a substantial package of support. The service is for those who have the capacity to manage independently in their own tenancy. Humbercare offers an enabling service to clients, which focuses upon a rights based approach enabling service to clients. We are not able to provide a personal care service.

The support is provided to individuals in their own, permanent, self contained accommodation rather than in a unit that is designed as supported housing (e.g. a hostel). When support is no longer required, the individual remains in their home and the support floats off to another individual with support needs (floating support).
